[QUOTE="VonGak"][QUOTE="Bunnyslippers"]Yes, that's the next step we need, but I'll wait getting a 3D TV until I know it follows the standards set so I can be sure that there'll be made content for it. :)I think 3Dtv's with only 1080p would be awesome to play games on. 1440P on projectors would make more sense.

"3-D TV That Actually Works"
"Philips has developed hardware and software that can extract the original depth information from the game engine and use it to create 3-D images on a WOWvx display.
In New York, the company demonstrated the technique with the first-person shooter Call of Duty. It looked almost perfect, except for a little shimmering around the edges of objects, which Philips says will be fixed in the coming months."

Games will take advantages of the 3Dtv's immediately ( just like with HD).
But you are talking about movies of course. And I am not. I am talking about playing 1080p games on a 1080p 3Dtv.

1440p isn't that much.
Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP
2560x1600 or 1600p
LAWL LAWL LAW!! YOUR WRONG!!
dell ultrasharp 3007 is a pc monitor, and resolutions on that isnt supported by anything but PC graphic cards.
1600 is not 1600p its just how many pixels the computer resolution has. not an actual television screen.
