Earlier today, I put money into my account to buy Lode Runner, listed at 800 points (I wish they would just do it in dollars, they try to get you to not think about how much it costs by using points). It kept giving me an error and not letting me buy it. Then later today, it was relisted at 1200 "points". I played Lode Runner on my Apple II in the 80s and was excited to get this version, but I wont pay $15 for it. I wonder if anyone else thinks this price is too high. For the same reason I did not buy the Penny Arcade RPGs... I guess its most annoying how they changed the price, and I wish they didn't do so well with online sales so all the full games were 400 "points". That would make more sense. I guess I also feel burned by buying Resident Evil's versus mode, which should have been included in retail.
I have a ****** n1 router and as long as you place your xbox IP in the router DMZ, and in virtual servers open up the ports suggested on microsofts website or portforward.com i thnk it works just fine. have never had a problem communicating w/ anyone but thats another story if you want to hear a lot of the BS people say when wearing a headset on XBL anyway
you gotta be on xbl EXACTLY at MIDNIGHT, and press up, down, left, right on the d-pad, then Y,B,B,A,X. You must do this while selecting the banjo kazooie game on xbox originals. If you get it right, you will see a pic of Cliffy B doing an air guitar and hear the sound of a cash register.
The single player is not very fun either. Most of it is on-rails, especially the last (5th) level. Its a bunch of gimmicky stuff. Don't write that on the Epic forum though, they will ban you. Cliffy B can't stand being criticized. Gears 2 is more disappointment and frusturation than fun, but the hype sold us all on it, just like Halo 3. What a bunch of crap, especially for sixty dollars. I would rent it and see what you think first, maybe theyll release a new multiplayer scheme through download soon (i doubt it would be soon though). Too bad, the 1st gears had a lot going for it. This one seems like a cheap cash in.
cliffy B is a douche.... just watch any video interview. the guy thinks he is the second coming of jesus or something. he has the douchiest attitude i have ever seen. he probably things gears 2 is the best game ever made and doesnt understand how anyone could think poorly of it.Roland123_basic
I agree. If you try to post anything bad about gears 2 on epics forums, theyll ban you. i called "cliffy b" a dork and was banned but he is a douche too.
