I remember that I spent an unhealthy amount of time here, mostly lurking. One of my fondest memory has to be Greg's TES:Oblivion marathon, I was so hyped for that game! Also: BUTTON MASHING!

Nowadays I really don't have time for reading/posting in OT... blame life and all. After Jeff and Ryan founded Giantbomb there really hasn't been any good reason to come here for content anymore, either. Gamespot is geared too much towards a younger audiences, I think. Although Giantbomb allows swearing and stuff, the discussions seem more civil and less shallow.

Hey guys... I'm looking for some sort of electronic handheld type of thingy. It's probably from the 80's in the vein of Mattel's LCD handheld games, not totally unlike this one. Although it looks nothing like that. (see below)

Formula Racer

The one I am looking for has to be held up to the eyes though, kinda like a Virtual Boy.

Other known facts:

  • it's a racing game
  • it has to be held like binoculars (kinda)
  • there are three buttons: accelerate, steer left, steer right
  • there are three lanes which have to be changed to evade traffic oncoming traffic
  • your car is blue, the others red
  • on top of the device there's a window so that light can come in - this can't be played in the dark
  • it also uses batteries, though.

Also, this has probably been made by Fisher Price (not absolutely sure, though)

If any of you guys could help me identify this jewel... that'd be great, thanks :)

Hi I was looking for "Der flinke Architekt" for the 2600 but I couldn't find anything. I don't know if that's a German/Europe only release since there doesn't seem to be an English title for it - at least I couldn't find one on the net...

ya, its on the 360 in japan

Hm. I don't really know what to think about that. Could be kinda neat or pretty bad. I'm definitely interested, though.

Yes. There's no region-code on hardware (at least not on that type).

So what do you guys think are the most hardest achievements ever created?

Whats the hardest achievement youve ever done?

Whats the most fun?

Please dont say "Mile High Club" That achievement was beyond easy.

laliberte11
Mile High Club was far from easy, prolly not the hardest but still not easy. IW said something like only 4% of the COD4 community ever got the Mile High Club achievement.

I'm one of those 4% 8)

Yeah because nearly 20% of all CoD4 players are one of those 4%... :P
