nah pci had a 360 for the last 3 years. I'm mainly just a gamer and was perfectly happy with it for hte most part. I like the controller and the exclusives but at the same time there hasnt been anything come out for it exclusively i really wanted to play recently. I really wanted a few games that came out for the ps3. I sold my 360 and got a ps3. 2 consoles imo is a bit much for me and i like to just have one to mess with and my pc. Been going back and forth though. I spent more money doing this and not sure if it was worth it.

[QUOTE="darkspineslayer"][QUOTE="Couth_"] It's actually a lot more like Socom, or GRAW evenCouth_ah, but those are NOT third person shooters :P socom and GRAW are tactical FPS titleslolwut :? Socom and graw are third person shooters. Gears is more of an OTS cover based action shooter if you really want to get technical... gears of war is 2nd person, and 3rd.
These day's pc's last longer than consoles, the only upgrades you really need to do is the video card every 3-4 years which is basically a consoles lifespan of good games and rest is just shovelware.Well, considering Valve, and Epic know how to make great looking games that are very efficient, and don't require an extreme PC to run at the highest settings, then no. I don't agree with this. I bought a $400 PC a few years ago (custom built), and it actually still plays games great as long as game companies are smart. That Unreal Engine 3 is going to make some amazing looking games that will work great even on my PC.
Using a PC, modding it, building it, and all that is a hobby. Just because in some cases it might be unnecessary does not mean people find it unappealing. I really really enjoyed learning how to build a computer, and then building a few computers. My friends do too. We all play Xbox, and Nintendo as well though, but we'll keep up on upgrading our PCs, and modding them, because it's fun.
