Hey! I'm having trouble choosing a battle tower team. I'll be doing mostly single battles, but double battle help would also be appreciated. The pokemon I'm choosing from, and what role they play:

Absol @ Scope Lens
-Night Slash
-Slash
-Psycho Cut
-Sword dance

Absol would be my Critisol and physical sweeper. You may have noticed that his 3 damage attacks all have high critical hit ratios, and the scope lense raises the critical hit ratio of damage attacks even further, so I get a lot of critical hits.. Swords dance raises his attack. Plus, he gets STAB on Night Slash.

Luxray @ ??? (Currently Razor Fang)
-Thunderbolt
-Crunch
-Strength
-Charge

I don't know what to give her. I'm thinking maybe a berry that weakens the foe's supereffecftive groundtype attack, as this helps me a bit against any non-ground types that use ground attacks like earthquake. She gets STAB on Thunderbolt.

Lapras @ Icy Rock
-Hail
-Blizzard
-Surf
-Sleep Talk

Icy Rock makes Hail last longer, and Blizzard becomes 100% accurate in Hail. Combine that with STAB from Lapras being part ice, and I'll send those annoying dragon users running home to their moms. :twisted: Surf is for water coverage and STAB (plus, a base power of 95 without STAB or supereffectiveness is good even on its own) and sleep talk is because I've used Lapras before, and it always takes awhile for it to wake up.

-Flamethrower
-Confuse Ray
-Extrasensory
-Calm Mind (once I get the TM. I'll probably give it to an Emerald pokemon then import it. This TM is pretty hard to get.)
I don't know what to give her, either. Maybe a wide lens or zoom lense. Actually, a zoom lense is a bad idea, she's pretty fast. Anyway, Flamethrower for STAB and coverage, colm mind to make it last longer and do more damage, confuse ray to... well, confuse, and Extrasensory for more coverage.

-Psychic (coverage and STAB)
-Calm Mind (same reason as Ninetales)
-Magical Leaf (coverage, and for use against those annoying sand-attackers, doubleteamers, etc.)
-Wish (health recovery, duh)
Basic Gardevoir here. She has really high Sp. Atk, which is good.

Special Sweeper. Aura Sphere and Flash Cannon get STAB, Dragon pulse and Dark are for more coverage. Plus, Aura Sphere never misses.

So, any suggestions for team members and/or items? Any help is appreciated.

BTW, STAB stands for Single Type Attack Bonus. Whenever a pokemon uses a move that is the same type as them, the move's power is multiplied by 1.5. (Completely made-up (the pokemon and moves aren't real))EXAMPLE:

Kickboy, a fighting type, uses Punch, a move with 40 Base Power and is a fight attack swimmmy, a water type. He has STAB, so the Base Power is now 60.

That's basically it with STAB.
