Reflections

Segment 25: Career

So, I've been in a analytical mood lately, and I've been thinking about what I want to do with my life. I'm still an adolescent, so it's okay for me to not have much direction in life, but I wish I could be a person with dreams about their future.

Anyway, right now a few things that have me interested are psychology, neurology, astrophysics, and the performing arts (i.e. singing, dancing, theatre, etc.) I'd say the thing I disklike the most about myself is that my interests change way too often. When I was younger, I wanted to work for LEGO. Then, I wanted to be a videogame designer for quite awhile. Then I got into Astrophysics, then back into game design, and then I wanted to be a Police Officer in Japan. Don't ask why, I'm not sure myself.

I've been listening to some Psychology podcasts recently, and I must say they're very interesting, though I'm still not sure if psychology is right for me. I used to have a very interesting book by Neil Degrasse Tyson, a fairly famous Astrophysicist, but I guess it must've been from the Library, since I can't seem to find it anywhere. I've read one or two books by Oliver Sacks, a Neuroscientist, but again, I can't seem to find them.

I guess what I was trying to say with that last paragraph is that I have at least a little bit of knowledge (or experience, as the case is with the Performing Arts) in each aspect of my current interest, so my decisions (when I make them) won't be biased by ignorance.

Segment 15: Books

So, I've recently developed an interest in mystery novels. I'm currently reading The Hound of the Baskervilles. After this, I intend to finish Hallowe'en Party, and then I'll move on to one of three books: Murder on the Orient Express, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, or the Maltese Falcon. Any suggestions as to which I should begin next, or any other authors or titles I may want to check out? I'm usually very open-minded as far as books go.

Segment 21: Video Games

I think I'm becoming more and more casual of a gamer. I used to spend hours on a Saturday playing SSBM, yet I haven't even turned on a gaming console in 2 or 3 weeks. Now I usually just play physics-based games online. I guess my presence on this site is a bit ambivalent if I don't even play videogames anymore.

Segment 1: The End

I think this blog is a bit ridiculous, but that's what I think about most of my blog posts/youtube comments/etc. anyway.

I'm so glad I don't have to get up early tomorrow morning.
