I used to play with my xbox 360...that was before I got a new PC. In my opinion, PC's have more to offer when it comes to online gaming, but xbox360 is also fun when it comes to sports and racing games. Also, Halo 3 and Assasain's Creed are slated for release very soon, I am looking forward to playing those on 360.

Hmmmm....I am only getting around 4.5k in 3dmark06. This is my setup:

AMD Athlon 64 x2 5600+ overclocked to 3.0 ghz
Evga 8600 GT superclocked overclocked to 676/852
3 GB ram (Corsairs)

In short, should I be getting these scores with this type of CPU, Vcard, and ram? If so, I am guessing its the 8600 GT thats slowing me down...

If you are just using it for everyday tasks and some light gaming then new ram and a new hard drive would suffice. IfI were you,I'd reformat the old one and see how that goes first.

I have been using an Acer laptop for about a year now. The quality is not bad but not great...The keyboard feels cheap, but hey, you get what you pay for. Also, Acer's come with alot of pre-installed programs.

Which configuration would give me the most performance? Currently I have 3 gb in my setup...2 identical 1 gbCorsair sticks and another 1 gb that is different. So I was just wondering if taking out the different 1 gb would increase or decrease performance. Thanks in advance.
