Scrubs

The new season of Scrubs started a few weeks ago. All I can say is "YAY!"

While they haven't really gotten anywhere in terms of an overall plot, we're only four episodes in, so meh.

However, according to this, Scrubs may not get it's proper ending.

Well, I know I've been gone a long time. It was my birthday on the fifteenth, and I forgot to stop by, as on the X-Files board, we usually get birthday threads dedicated to us. Sorry if I got one and missed it, guys!

Lolwut?

Hello, tv.commers. :D I know I've been gone for-EVAR, but I swear, I've been trying to find time to get on here. Things have been busy. I know some of you have probably given up on me completely. :P

I'm so far behind here; I have no clue what's been happening. Hopefully, I'll catch up.

While I'm here, a big "sorry" and "how you doin'?" to everyone. I'll try to be here more often!

*CoughBlogCough*

I'm back. :) It's been a long time, I know, but meh.

By the way, Mav's new icon is awesome. :D It very much applies to the both of us. :P

I found this X-Files picture on photobucket (it made my day):

So, what's been going on during my absence? I figure I missed quite a few of Booger's blogs. Sad face. :( I'm sure when I head back over to the X-Files board, there will literally be at least a thousand new posts in the off-topic thread alone. (Last time I checked less than a week ago, there were over five hundred.) I'm also sure I've missed some news on X-Files 2.

I think I'm going to try and do a charcoal sketch of Gillian Anderson, but I don't know how well it'll work out; I need to sketch at the computer, because I need a photo reference, and I don't have a printer. (Because I'm just awesome like that, of course.)

In other extremely important news (har-har), I've just gotten over a cold that lasted five days, made my throat burn like hell and made me lose my voice for a day and a half. My voice is still a bit off, but at least I can speak now.

Say what?

Wow... I've been gone for about a week. It doesn't even feel like it's been that long. I've been extremely busy. :( Sorry for my absense; things are still going to be busy, so I probably won't have much time to get on, but I promise I'll be back soon. Fo' sho'.

AND, I'll start writing longer blogs. :o

AND, I'll start getting back to the forums. :o

Again, sorry for my long absense.

So... freakin'... tired.

Sorry I haven't been on in awhile. I've been extremely tired for whatever reason, I've been very busy, and my internet's been off and on again.

I may not be on for a bit, because there are some things I've been putting off that really need to be taken care of.

Sorry! I'll be back soon.

Aaaaand... I'm done.

I just finished the book a few minutes ago. :D
Wow... The whole thing when Harry's somewhere between life and death (or something like that...) talking to Dumbledore had me a bit confused. But, after that, everything was spectacular; Harry killing Voldemort -- everything. The epilougue wasn't too terribly great, but it's great to know Hermione and Ron got married, as well as Harry and Ginny. I thought all the kids were a bit much, but it was enjoyable.

I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't actually get to see Harry and Ginny get back together in the main story, and I expected to see more of Ron and Hermione in a relationship, but I'm thankful it happened. Of course, everyone of my speculations, of which I put a lot of confidence in, were wrong. :P

It's just hit me that this is the last book -- I mean, I knew it was the last book, but it didn't feel like it. Harry's killed Voldemort, he's now an adult, married and has three children. Ron and Hermione are married, and have two children. It's just a bit emotional to have them go from seventeen year olds, to thirty six year olds.
BUT, we still have at least four more years of Harry Potter in the movies. The Half-Blood Prince will be in theatres in November of next year, and Deathly Hallows is supposed to be out sometime in2010 (and I can say with confidence that the movie will be ah-mazing). Not to mention, I'll probably be going through withdrawal and frantically re-reading every single one of the books.

It's three thirty in the morning, I'm freaking tired, and I'm going to bed. 'Night all. :D

Almost done with it... EDIT

Yup, after about a day and a half, I'm almost done with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (around ten more chapters left). I've been kind of out of it due to lack of sleep (which was a result of staying up from one A.M. to nine A.M. reading Deathly Hallows the day I got it. Shaddup.), so I'm going to re-read it when I'm finished AFTER I get some sleep, so I can fully enjoy it.

As it turns out, some of the spoilers are true, but Scholastic already said that before the book even came out.

(Don't click on the spoiler tags if you don't want some of the book spoiled, in case you didn't know. :P)
So far, Hedwig, Rufus Scrimgeour, Dobby, Bathilda Bagshot, and Mad Eye Moody have died.

Lupin and Tonks had a baby boy (d'awww), Ron / Hermione shipperness has been in overdrive since very early in the book, and I'm praying to God they get together.
One of the spoilers (that could quite possibly be fake) has been bothering me (you know the drill, don't click if you don't want to be spoiled).
According to some idiot who went around posting spoilers everywhere (before the book was released, mind you), Bellatrix kills Ron. As if the entire Malfoy Manor chapter didn't make me cry enough, what with Hermione being tortured and Ron freaking out about it, if Ron dies, I'm going to be freakin' upset. I actually did cry, once I got to thinking about it (I'm a softy who doesn't care much for heroes dying).
I could honestly go on and on about all of this, but I need to get back to readin' mah book. :D

I swear, I'll stop making Harry Potter-releated blogs soon. :P

EDIT: I'm on chapter thirty two now (four more chapters to go!), and wow...
Crabbe died (not exactly tear-jerking), and Fred died, which is one of the saddest things I've read so far. Man, Fred and George's luck has been running dry.

Aaaaand, Ron and Hermione finally got together in chapter thirty one. I would've preferred it to have happened earlier in the book, but I'm thankful. And, of course, it was somewhat awkward, because after all, it's Ron and Hermione.

Little thing I noticed: It took them seven years to kiss, just like Mulder and Scully. :D
By the way, thanks toRoryMariano for the little "hint" as to a certain character's fate. I don't usually like spoilers for books, but this one made me happy. :D

Wow... crappy night.

So, I was browsing deviantART last night, and right out of nowhere, someone talks about one of the characters that dies in Harry Potter 7. I was freaking out, because not only was the book spoiled, but the character that died was vitally important.

(I'm not even going to post anything in spoiler tags. If people are curious, PM me and I'll give you more details.)

Then, while on mugglenet, I accidentally came across a spoiler that said the exact opposite of what I'd read before. I wasn't as upset, but it was still a heartbreaking death. THEN, I read that the other person doesn't die, but THIS person does.

By that time, I was so freakin' confused, it wasn't even funny. It was also like three in the morning (I had trouble sleeping).

THEN, someone says that -insert name here- dies, then another person says, "no, they don't die. -insert name-, -insert name-, and -insert name- die, though.

Then there were all these idiot posting things in all capital letters like, "-Insert name- KILLS -insertname-!!!1!!11!" By this time, I had heard probably about five contradicting spoilers.

Then, I read an article on there AND Yahoo! about supposed copies of the book leaking on the internet. First of all, you'd have to be a freakin' invisible ninja to get your hands on one of those books early (they have 24-hour security, alarms on the books, the whole nine yards).

Some people who were stupid enough to go and read the "book" started saying that there were way too many inconsistincies for it to be the real thing. Supposedly, it's not written at all in JK Rowling's style, the chapter titles are weak, there's no summary on the flap inside the book (there's always been one of those in every book), and PLENTY of grammatical and spelling errors that JK Rowling would ever make. (I've yet to find any grammatical errors in her book.)

So, I kept reading, there were these idiots posting the same crap over and over again, while the half-way intelligent people were busy proving the book was fake and how the "author" could've gotten it made in the first place.

Here's my theory:

Someone wrote a long fan fiction made to seem like Deathly Hallows. They print out the cover art (supposedly, the cover was held together by cellophane, which makes it seem like it's just a bunch of images of the over art put together), copy Mary GrandPre's style (it's not that terribly hard to do), and voila, they've got a copy of Deathly Hallows.

Of course, this is a bit of a stretch, but not as much of a stretch as suggesting they stole a few books (which were so highly protected it's almost amusing) without being caught, took a picture of every page, and posted it on the internet. Funny thing is, each of the different copies are written differently, and have a completely different plot line.

X_fangirl_X read a spoiler that I also saw, and we were both pretty disappointed because spoilers for books just ruin it. But now, I think we can rest easy, given the fact the books are probably fake.

Yes, I'm insane.

Potter Mania.

I'm enjoying a nice case of Potter Mania. I'm so freakin' excited about the book, sometimes I just burst and start saying, "oh my God, this is the last one! THIS has to happen, and THEY have to get together..." and so on to anyone who happens to be around (granted I know them, of course :P).

I'm a dork, I know. :D

In honor of the Potterness, I got a new blog header, a new icon, and a new image for my signiture:

Which fits me entirely too well.

I probably won't go online until I finish the book, to avoid spoilers and such. I may still go over to the X-Files board though. BUT, when I get back, I'll throw a little blog party in honor of the book. :D
