Yeah, im totally outta games to buy. I tend to only pick up the "finest", which usually requires a rent, first. Counter Strike, Halo, Unreal, and Quake can only keep a guy entertained for so long. World of Warcraft? Fine game indeed, however, im taking a little break from it. Yep... I need some ideas!

I recently picked up both the Guitar Heros, and i gotta admit, these games are a MUST have for everyone. Of course, as a guitar and bass player, i found them twice as amusing, and i still marvel at how well the game is constructed.

Played Gears of War a few days ago. As you can see I also wrote a review for it, and so far its recommended by 3 out of 30 people. What is wrong with people today? They cant get over the fact that this game is nothing more than graphics, and they wasted $60 on poor gameplay. I think i failed to mention that you can really destroy anything in the enviroment, besides maybe a couch. You can even blow up a freakin bottle laying on the ground. Hell, i could do that in 007 for N64. You can jump out a freakin window and fall 2 feet to the ground either... that is just sick.. People need to wake up. They dont care about how well the game plays (which is all that freakin matters) all they care about is the shine, and are willing to pay any amount of cash for it.

I like most people at one time, wanted an Xbox360. I almost bought one, but decided to get a PC instead. A good friend of mine however, went the other way and bought the 360. I was excited to see what it was like, what i could do, how good the graphics are, yeah yeah yeah. So i went to check out it, and i have never been so dissapointed in a game con. N64 was a huge jump from the earlier consols, PS2 GC XB were all a bit leap from N64, 360 a huge leap from XB? Im going to go ahead and say it, and i dont care if you hate me or not, the 360 is the biggest rip-off of the year, and anyone that dicides to go out and buy one, deservers what they get. Any body that went out and wasted a good $400 will argu with me in attempt to defend the 360, and to not feel as if they have wasted $400... but they are NOT looking at the fact that all i see so far, are games that are just a bit more polished than your average XB game, and gameplay that you could easily get from an XB. They also dont see that i could go out and buy any game made for both XB and 360, and get the same thing out of it on XB for 10 dollars cheaper. Im guessing that they dont care that in order to get 4 controllers for the 360, that theyll spend about $200 more, just for freakin controllers. Reguardless of this, i have yet to see a good 360 game. At the end of the day what matters most, graphics or gameplay? I rather play the Perfect Dark for N64, than the one on 360. Im serious. What about Oblivion? there are so many glitches in that game i cant enjoy it... it also laggs. If im gonna spend that much money on the 360, games, controllers, and whatever i might need, i better get the best freakin game exp. ive ever had in my life. I also love how EB games has a 360 set up on a plasma tv, and right beside it, a XB set up on your average tv. That is what i call bullcrap. I really hope microsoft falls on its face.. i really do. if its the next generation, give us a freakin next gen. video game system!
