This is a pretty terrible review. This is the best expansion in years - largely because it addressed the very complaints this article vaguely articulates.
I just dig that they are creating new and consequential content without rehashing lore.
I really don't see the problem with this these days. It takes YEARS to make a top tier game. Why not keep selling content to make the art continually interesting and accessible for those who want it?
TBH, I would probably still buy a new Skyrim DLC if it came out just because I loved that game so much. Same goes for new characters on smash bros.
I'm also older these days and my resources have swapped. I have less time, and more disposable income. It probably would have frustrated me more when I was younger when I could play games until I got tired of them. Back then I would rather see more new content than continuation of something I was already bored of.
Wow, I take a break from Gamespot for a year and come back to find Nazi sympathizers in the comments. WTF ya'll.
Kids, please get off the dark corners of the internet that make you feel edgy and unique. Nazi's are not a fashion statement or an oppressed minority deserving of your defense. Trust.
What a trap topic. He can't say anything other than stellar expectations which is hilarious.
"Well, it will be better than just about any video game movie ever, but we will have to see on whether or not it will actually break from the pack." *Never makes it into a shareholders meeting ever again.*
@Nymphonomicon: I think it is less about that and more about devoting their limited amount of resources that the majority of their consumers would actually appreciate and enjoy. Sure we would like a reboot, but the majority of their consumer base may not if it means that it takes away from other games.
I really love that I have the remastered edition. But for real, this thing is WAY buggier than my old ps3 copy of the original ever was. I have had to back track so many times thanks to game breakdowns. Also, the game will not fit my screen - it clips on all four sides enough to not be able to read messages that pop up and to cut into the spell menu. I have tried all the fixes. Nothing would help outside of buying a brand new TV that has adjustable overcast (and that is not even a for sure fix).
A warning to those who feel compelled to buy it: you will certainly be frustrated. For me, the game is fun enough with mods to push through. Although, I wish I hadn't paid full price. Bugthesda really solidified the notorious title here.
