Did you try quitting Steam totally by closing the icon on the tray and quitting the service in Task Manager before inserting the disc?

after the patch everyone thing works great now..

my sprint button (c) keeps saying unbound...ugh
i set it. go into a match and it doesnt work.. i go back and it says unbound again..

i dont know whats worse... not being able to get into TDM or not being able to sprint :?
they need to patch this thing again.

No, you didn't really. You are merely playing in offline mode, which only works once STEAM has had chance to 'update' and then you can play in offline mode. But you didn't install without STEAM, you only installed with STEAM, which means it is STEAM dependent and it is not POSSIBLE to install without STEAM.

No, you didn't. What you mean is that you played in offline mode. Which you can't do except through Steam.
