Although buggy and more than a little bit awkward I'm finding GameSpot's evaluation of this year's E3 to be somewhat entertaining and mildly informative. Being an ex-Wii owner and current 360 fanboy in the making Project Natal is an obvious standout for me. I got my first glimpse of the product in the download offered now on the Xbox LIVE Dashboard. This 5 minute video literally killed any fond memories I had of playing Wii games. With a bomb. The thought of interacting with video games with no controller has been every (gamer) child's dream since our first visits to the Mushroom Kingdom or our earliest EXP grind. Although I'm a little skeptic of what the final product will turn out to be (remember those amazing videos that convinced you the Wii was the next revolution in gaming?). As far as software goes I'm giddily excited for Mass Effect 2, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2: Fusion, Final Fantasy XIII, and MSG4 for the 360. Dragon Age: Origins, Fallout: New Vegas, Champions Online, and DLC for the a slew of current 360 games seem to either lost in development hell or horribly covered. I'll update again as I'm obligated to watch this year's E3 coverage.
