If only i am filthy rich then I would have bought an Xbox 360 and Playstation3 on the launch day even if they cost a lot more here but i have to face the reality that I belong to a middle class family who doesn't have enough money to buy whatever we want unless we save for it. So here I am drooling in envy whenever i see a game that i would love to play on a next gen console. I am currently saving money to buy a PS3 and right now I have a whopping $200 and I am planning to sell my XBOX(grrr I should not have bought that damn thing it was not really worth it, though I had fun playing KOTOR and Fable). I could sell my xbox for $150 or even $200 if I get lucky and I will have a $400. Unfortunately PS3s here cost $600 so im still $200 short and not to mention I still have to buy games for it which cost around $100 here(though I can get it much cheaper from playasia and ebay) an also have to buy an Component HD cable(we have a big old Sony Bravia CRT TV which is 1080i capable but don't have an hdmi port). So i guess i have raise $1000 in order to enjoy my ps3. Yeah just $800 away from my dream.
things I should not have asked my parents to buy me:
1. A new desktop PC which cost $1300 and i cant even play new games on it because it has crappy video card oh actually it has no graphics card! it ahs an intel graphic accelrator which is really really bad!
2. An Xbox; I was dying to get my hands on the original xbox when i first saw it but after I already have it i realize that my PS2 is still a lot lot lot better because I enjoyed and still enjoying games on it, while my xbox now is collecting dust.
can't think of anything else as of now;
Grrr I should have ask my parents to buy me a PS3 rather than those two pieces of crap and now my parents doesn't want to buy me because according to them I already have a PS2, Xbox, and PSP and that I they don't see any diiference with the PS3. I tried convincing them that it is much much better because its bluray its HD blah blah but it didn't work. So I guess I have to save up to buy one.
