It's been I don't know how long since I've posted anything here and my, have things changed. First of all, the young woman I spoke about in my last blog is now my wife as of 6 months and 17 days ago. Secondly, I have not written any lyrics for a long time. I haven't quit. I just haven't really had any come to me. Thirdly, my wife and I are definitely hoping to have children in the near future, as soon as we get our finances to be a bit better.

To be honest, I'm still getting used to married life, but I love it. There's ups and downs, but that's with any relationship. Things are going well for me. Now, I just need to figure out a career path for myself and things will be going really well for me.

I've recently made a new female friend and we've been hanging out alot. I've gone to church with her and she's gone with me. I really enjoy spending time with her and I've come to care alot for her in a relatively short time. Even so, I'm not going to rush into anything. I've never had a girlfriend or even been kissed (yeah, I know that's kinda pathetic) and I'm very old fashion. I just want to take my time and get to know her, so, maybe in the future, she and I will go steady and in time maybe get married. It's still way too soon to seriously think about marrying her, but as I said, I'm old fashion and since this could be my first relationship, I want this to have a good chance of lasting. She seems to be my type and she doesn't want to rush into anything either, which is a really good thing. I'm really happy to have found someone I have a chance for having a real relationship with.

I'm not the type of guy that girls from where I live seem to go for. To be honest, I know I'm far from being the perfect guy. I'm not handsome or suave. I'm a nerd who's awkward and goofy at times, plus I still live at home and at the moment I have a dead end job. Plus, I'm shy around people I don't know. I guess it's no wonder it's taken me until now to get another chance at finding true love. However, even if my new female friend becomes nothing more, I'm still happy to have her friendship because it gives me hope that there are still a few girls out there who'd go for a guy like me.

I don't usually do blogs like this one, but I might change that. I don't know. However, what I do know is that I'm absolutely crazy about The White Stripes' new album Icky Thump, an Australian group The Cat Empire's 2005 album Two Shoes, and another Australian group The John Butler Trio's new song "Daniella". As far as The White Stripes and Icky Thump goes, Jack White is mad like a wizard. He mixes mariachi trumpets and his signiture electric guitar distortion on a cover of Patti Page's "Conquest" and it sounds mindblowingly awesome. Then, to add to the eccentricity of the album, he has bagpipes on two songs. On top of that, the other songs on it are just as awesome. Now onto The Cat Empire and The John Butler Trio. I'll start with The John Butler Trio and "Daniella". That song is one of my favorite jams. I could listen to that a million times and not get tired of it. I can't wait 'til I get it on cd. The Cat Empire's Two Shoes is a great cd to both chill and jam to. It's got both a distinctively Australian sound as well as a Latin vibe. My favorite song off the cd is "Sly". I don't know how to describe it so instead here's the second verse and chorus: "She caterpillar so good that all the greeks go "killa"/Break and enter take ya like a glass of milk then "spill ya"/ Saw her coming what a scene, what I mean is/ She got that sex coffee beam, but she taste like vanilla/ Well alright she ignite when we hit the floor/ Like the vroom on a super Commodore/ Now if it makes a good story well it's just worthwhile/ With her's like dealing stories in the sprinkla style that's so sly// Aeh it's a pleasure to meet ya/ Ya look like one incredible creature/ Wanna treat you fine, let's dance and grind/ Get so funk-inflicted it's a crime/ You're divine you're sublime and well you blow my mind". For all the music fans out there, please give these cd's and songs a listen. I really think some of you who haven't heard them before will fall in love with at least one of the groups and songs I've mentioned.

I'm not going to be on Wednesday, so, I'll wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day today.  I hope everyone who has a valentine enjoys the day and for those like me who don't, I hope the day goes by quickly and without causing any heartache.

The computer I've been using since the laptop went up has now gone up.  I'm gonna keep trying to get it to work, but I have no idea if it will.  So, until it gets fixed or I become rich enough to get another computer, I'm gonna use the computers at the library.  Therefore, I'll only be on once a week at most.

I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I hope you all are enjoying the holiday.

Now onto some sadder news, the "Godfather of Soul", James Brown, died this morning around 1:45 A.M. He was 73. A music legend who was one of the inventors of funk and a huge influence on rap, besides his huge contribution to R&B and Soul, he could expose his hearton ballads like "TryMe", funk it up on jams like "I Got You (I Feel Good)", "Papa's Got A Brand New Bag", and "Cold Sweat", or do a powerful anthem like "Say It Loud, I'm Black and I'm Proud". Like Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, and many, many others, he will be greatly missed. I send out my condolences to all his family and friends and to all others who have lost a love one or has a love one with health problems this holiday. May God be with you all and grant you the peace that passes all understanding.

I had a computer before my sister gave me the laptop, but the thing in the CPU you plug into from the monitor which controls the colors was been on the blink, so, I stopped using it.  Anyway, out of desperation, I'm using it now even though the colors are messed up.  Hopefully, I'll get the laptop back soon.

It's no longer working.  My sister has it right now trying to fix it.  Anyway, I won't get it back for a little while, so, I'll be using the library computers for awhile.

Well, I've got my laptop working again for right now.  However, it may do the same thing again, so, if you send me a PM and I don't respond in two days or less, it's probably because of the laptop.

I know I've PMed a couple of you about this, but for everyone else I'm using this blog to let you know.  My laptop won't start and I'm not able to get it repaired or get a new computer, so, the only way for me to get online is to go to my local library (which is where I'm at now).  Unless I can get the laptop to work again, the most I'll be online is once a week.  You can still PM me.  Just don't overflow me with them and please keep in mind that I won't be able to respond right way.  Anyway, thanks for your time.
