Whenever you place your expectations bar too high, the final game will always be, at worse, a tad bit disappointing, so I do agree that being too hyped over a game can be negative. Also, nowadays a lot of people are playing the games without even trying to enjoy them. Adopting an objective and professional point of view is a good way to review a game, but don't make it ruin your experience. Even an "average" game can be enjoyable ! (well, not exactly all of them :D)
I find the non lethal way to be more challenging and rewarding, but sometimes going the bloody path while staying in the shadows makes you look like a badass, so that's fun too. Generally I tend for the first option, it's more professional :D
Other than that, The Witcher 3 rulez., and I'd like to see some Dragon Age : Inquisition, even if we had our share of information since the last months.
Neverwinter isn't bad at all. While it isn't the next revolution in the MMOs, there are quite a few good ideas like the system of the Foundry, which allows the players to create their own quests to share with the community. Cryptic is always trying to expand the game, especially with the incoming extension which will emphasize on the PvP and add new content for the late game. I found the battles to be pretty cool, the skills are well done in my opinion. Sadly there aren't many archetypes, and the lack of great cities tends to centralize everything on the main city. You should keep an eye or two on it :)
