Why Play?

This is a big question. You have to ask yourself why do you play the games that you do. In some cases the reasons for playing a particular game are somewhat flimsy at best, but if you don't know the real reason that you play these games then you should be asking yourself what that is. There are reasons to play particular games, graphics, gameplay, the neat weapons, the storyline and so on. These are isolated incidents. You need a real reason to be playing any and all of the games that you do. In my personal case, I have nothing to prove, I don't really care about specials/unlocks or other bonuses. The first, and primary reason that I play any game is for the fun of it. I mean, there is very little chance that you're going to get paid for playing anytime soon. As soon as the game starts to feel like a job, you should seriously be considering putting it away and finding something else to do. Games are meant to be fun, and this should be the real driving reason that any one of us should play any one of the millions of games that are out there.
