Final Fantasy XII is a great game, I don't see what everyone is complaining about. The story was weak, granted, but this time the combat was actually enjoyable and it wasn't a chore to grind levels. I would say thirty to fourty hours is a good estimate, but be prepared to put in around seventy hours if you want to see quite a bit of the goods. A lot of hunts to do, summons to collect and weapons to search for. Great game.

Saying 'shooter central' and than 'no variety' is the same point. Nice job trying to add filler to your list. The graphics on most multiplatform game look identical or slightly better on the 360. Your controller point is an opinion. I'l agree with RROD, mine has done it before. No AAAE? Afraid to say no good games? I think so, because if you did I could just point out the lack of good games for the PS3. I have one and it's collecting dust.

I enjoyed FF 7, 8 and 10.

I agree 12 sucked.......most boring story and charactersout of all the FF's IMO

12 has a bad story, but the gameplay made up for it.

"I just found precision jumping a bit harder than with a controller"

umm...your pushing the A button to jump....just like on a normal controller :?

Shinobishyguy
It just feels different when holding the nunchuk and wii remote, probably not the best example, but I was just saying how it felt a little wierd to me. A better example is the spinning punch attack is a little hard to time perfectly, and the backflip jumps and long jump is a bit trickier.

I voted that fame has gone to his head. My interpretation of that is that I don't like Nintendo just rehashing the same game, this time with gimmicked controls and not changing a lot. Mario Galaxy was pretty fresh, but I want to see the same with Metroid/Zelda.

Just bought Super Mario Galaxy, and although the controls for it were kind of cool, there was noticeable times when it was getting on my nerves. I just found precision jumping a bit harder than with a controller, and timing the spinning attack to hit units was a bit tricky. I was thinking that the controls were just an alternative at best, and frustrating at worst. However, I was just trying out Dragonball Z 3 for the Wii, and it is ridiculously fun. I don't even like Dragonball Z, the concept to me makes no sense, I don't understand the story, and I don't really enjoy fighting games besides old school Mortal Kombat. The wii controls however take this game that I wouldn't be interesting in all, and make it enjoyable. There are times where I can't pull off the super-attacks, but it's almost part of the fun as you get 3-4 opportunities per game to do your wave attacks, and if you **** it up, your going to lose. While I thought it could be annoying with Super Mario (although it's not as bad now, i'm just chucking starbits are enemies now), I am now convinced that the Wii controls do add to the experience, unlike a month ago or so, when I thought it was going to be BS to have to play with the Remote/Nunchuck. Nintendo has made me a believer.

I agree with Sonick54, Nintendo has the worst online out of the three consoles and Super Smash could be awesome with proper online. It will be fine with what it is, but it's still stupid the way they have this. The entire friend code system is dumb imo.

I totally agree with the TC on this. I own Orange Box, and I'm happy I bought it because I had never played Half Life before and Portal and Team Fortress 2 were fun while they lasted, so it was worth the $60 to me. I don't think it has enough content to stand on it's own though. Half Life Episode 2 is new, so that with Portal and Team Fortress 2 could be considered a new 'game', but I don't think it could beat a Halo, or Rock Band, etc.
