That is correct, you are unable to save until "game over" but it is nice to talk to another Star Fox enthousiast like me, who as already beaten the entire game, Good Luck my friend!!!
I am very sorry to hear that you are not an owner of the prized Nintendo Wii console, i feel sad about that, but your only chance to get one of these lovley wii's are to call early in the morning and wait outside the stores.
