9 Hours Of COD 4 Online...

No joke,

Yesterday me and a few of my mates were out, after a couple of games of Pool, we went back to one of my friends house where we planned to play a bit of online Call Of Duty on his 360 for an hour or so.

Turned into nine solid hours, theres a wonder it didnt overheat. from 1:00pm until 10:00pm, asmost killed me...

And So It Begins...

With 2007 being probably the best year for video games in a long time, I see 08 as being even better. Here are my top three most anticipated games. (I've also excluded GTA IV from my list, because frankly, Im getting bored seeing it in everybody's)

3. Afrika

The graphics on this really do make the game what it is. Finally the Blu-Ray capabilities of the PS3 are being used as this seems to look more like the place (Africa) than, well, Africa. Hell its cheaper than a plane ticket there. I also love the Pokemon Snap-esq predicted style of the gameplay to be used, it truly will be an immersive experience.

2. The Getaway (3)

I might of been one of the few people who didn't compare the original Getaway games to Grand Theft Auto, thus making me fall in love with the brilliant proper British grit of the London underworld. I have always seen the story-lines that the Getaway games use as film-worthy, so withhe enhanced graphics and broader gameplay, I am extremely excited about the third installment. And the fact that little information has been released about it, makes all the more exciting.

1. LittleBigPlanet

No matter from what age perspective you look at this from, it looks extremely enjoyable. Being able to build your own funky worlds to run amok in is great in itself, but with the multiplayer and online potential of this gem ensures that it will be a must have in any PS3 collection.

Well there are a good few before I got to my top three, but I feel those are the most important for me.

Bang Bang Boom Boom!

I just got points taken off by mods because I gave the link to a site where you can download old Genesis games for free, I got punished for it! Honestly!

...Gone Tommrow!

For a week now my Hella Old School badge kept dissaperaing and re-apperaing, and it looks likes its finally gone! Damn it!

Believe It Or Not- Soon

After rifeling through the 'Ripleys Believe It Or Not 2007' annual, I found a number of curious things involving video games. I'll be sure to post them up here soon...

I'm planning on creating a lot of these topics so I can get loads of facts up here for your reading pleasure. The first video will be here soon...

Time For A Break-Down...

With all this talk of 'Best game of 2006' I decided to list my top 5 favourite games of all time! 8)

5.

Resident Evil 4 for PS2 - Resident Evil 4 Playstation 2 - Resident Evil 4 PS2 Game

Name: Resident Evil 4                                                Comments: I have never really been into horror type games, but when I saw a video of this one, I was very excited. Most Resident Evil games (And all horror games for that matter) mostly are made up of Zombies and mindless violence, but this took a major twist on the francise and even had an amazing story (not to mention charactors: Rock on Bella Sisters)

4.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for PS2 - Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Playstation 2 - Grand Theft Auto: Vice City PS2 Game

Name: Grand Theft Auto: Vice City                                Comments: The first and only GTA title to feature in my list. The main reason for this is that I personally think that Vice City had an amazing storyline and was a huge milestone in gaming! This was the first GTA game I played and I absolutly adored it! Fast paced and cool as they come all the way through it...

3.

Mickey Mouse: World of Illusion for GEN - Mickey Mouse: World of Illusion Genesis - Mickey Mouse: World of Illusion GEN Game

Name: World Of Illusion                                              Comment: The only game I sold I wished I'd kept! The amount of hours I spent playing this game on my Genesis! Eventually me and my mate used the two player co-op mode to complete it. The two player mode is brilliant, and even though the game may be easy now to complete it kept me entertained for at least two years! May look a little childish, but don't be fooled, it's a little gem!

2.

Sonic the Hedgehog for GEN - Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis - Sonic the Hedgehog GEN Game

Name: Sonic The Hedgehog                                       Comments: To me, the best game that game out on the Genesis! This side scrolling beaty was amazing to play (even if I was no good at it, and I was stuck on the first encounter of Dr. Robotnik for a year until my dad beat him for me :P), No other action/adventure game could ever life up to the brilliant gameplay of Sonic!

1.

Grim Fandango for PC - Grim Fandango PC Game - Grim Fandango Computer Game

Name: Grim Fandango                                             Comments: Where do I begin... The music is fantasticly suited to what the game is about, and the overall atmosphere created is just brilliant. The storyline and gameplay rises above all others and I even think it would out class those games of today, and who could not love Manny Calavera! Took me seven years to complete with all the challenging puzzles, and each solution is just so slick. Gamespots game of the year in 1998 and ranked 10th in the greatest game endings ever, rightly so.

Well thanks for reading my favourite games ever, look forward to reading yours :P
