As others have mentioned, they are aware of it. Just spoke to a rep from Sony on the phone. It's a server issue and depending on when you created your PSN, the information may be on a server that is affected. I asked why slim versions were on and older generation systems were not. Her response? Newer created PSN accounts may all be on a certain server that is not affected while the older gens may be on the affected servers. So, depending on when you created your account and where you are, you may be able to sign in. Hope this helps with the mystery...
