Obviously dude, itll be like Wii Sports. Its just more "unique" when you use the pad and wiimotes together in multiplayer. Futhermore, Reggie said somewhere that half of the attractions are single-player only.
That's not true. 60 fps on consoles isn't common, but there are quite a few games that do.[QUOTE="meetroid8"][QUOTE="IMAHAPYHIPPO"]
Console games have never run in 60fps. Unless you're playing on a gaming PC you've never seen 60fps in a video game; that's actually a pretty big deal for Nintendo and the console world. If the shift is anything like going from DVD and 60hz to Blu Ray and 120hz, things are going to look REAALLLLYYYY good.

This, there are some that do it just fine, I believe COD does 60fps.
But for 60fps to become common on the WiiU, however would be a nice little feat.
no it wouldnt. 60 fps doesnt neccessarily mean the game looks better. In fact in some cases it makes the game look worse. Call Of duty does not look as nice as something like Killzone or Battlefield. Not because its lacking other effects, or whatever, its cos the way the game runs looks 'cheaper' than those games. And that has to do with 60fps vs 30fps. 30fps tends to give games a more film-like look and therefore it looks a little better. But in some games like Call of Duty and platformers, 60 fps is needed for accuracy and flow in gameplay rather than looks.

At least we'll have achievements? Really? i dont at all get this mindset that achievements are a good thing, and not a completely useless meaningless thing thats an extremelly cheap way to devise a false sense of acomplishment while removing any real rewards for acomplishment that could be possible in a game.
Edit: it doesnt even mention achievements in that article....

I agree. They need to go!

I agree too. But the proposed set up for Wii U is tolerable (if I'm interpreting the article correctly).
It does sound better, but why do we need still need them?Doesn't Nintendo want to attract the "hardcore" crowd?YEAH I KNOW MAN GAMERTAGS ARE WAY MORE HARDCORE THAN FRIEND CODES!! SICK BRO!! *eyeroll.gif*
I honestly think people complain more about the friend codes than is neccessary. Giving someone your Livetag or Psn name isnt that simple either if you got a complicated nickname with a lot of symbols n stuff. Also choosing a nickname I wanna keep is alot of pressure for me. Its really just the overall online system that was the problem with the Wii, rather than the friend codes. I think this Miiverse look like a pretty aswesome turn around though, so i dont care if it got friend tags.
