General Info About The Issue:

-My system usually crashes while 1)idle or 2) under light usage (like web-browsing, etc.)

-It does not crash while gaming which is my primary use for the machine.

-There are a variety of Bugchecks (see attached)

-I can't seem to put my finger on any single action that causes a crash.

Things I Have Tried:

-All of my drivers are up to date (I use Driver Fusion Premium to keep them up to date).

-I have run Memtest86+ for 8+hours with 0 errors.

-I have done clean-installs of Windows several times and several system restores. The problem usually gets better but it slowly creeps back to more frequent crashes.

Other than that, all of the info is in the attached .dmp files.

Any help is appreciated

My computer has been BSOD'ing constantly over the last week or so, but only when idle. I've had several different bug checks, but the vast majority of them have been of the following origin:

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

STOP: 0x0000003B

Within the last 48 hours or so I've also had lots of trouble booting; I usually crash several times on start-up before booting normally where I'm able to play games, surf the web, etc, with no problems, until I leave the computer for 5 minutes or so after which I get another crash and have to start the long booting process over again.

I cannot post a .dmp file because for some reason my computer just refuses to create them when I crash (I've gone through the steps required to set up windows to gen .dmp files upon BSOD about a million times to no avail). However Windows Event Viewer (eventvwr.exe) displays the same event with every crash.

So you all probably remember Company of Heroes in all its glory, and may even still play it and the numerous mods associated with it till this day. I personally have been playing it a lot lately, specifically with the Blitzkreig mod running, and quite simply, the performance I am getting out of my machine is appalling. I've tried a number of things, but before I dive into it, here are my specs, listed below: Intel Core i5 760 @ 2.8Ghz (Stock) w/ Corsair H50 H20 Liquid Cooling PNY GTX 580 @ Stock (800Core/1600Shader/2004Memory) 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws Series DDR3 1600 (9-9-9-24-2t) Biostar T5XE Mainboard Corsair TX 750W Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM (w/113GB free of 931GB total) Windows 7 X64 The appalling performance I speak of, is essentially never going above 35 fps, usually at the very beginning of the game, before dipping down into a chilly 13-20fps for the duration, until the very end when it seems to clear back up a little bit. I've knocked out all the usual suspects, my temps look good, sitting around 32C for my GPU and maxing at 19C on my CPU (my basement is cold), my drivers are updated to the latest ForceWare 310.90 WHQL, and I have no other issues in particular with any other games. The thing that gets me here is that my hardware is being totally underutilized. My CPU is between 30-50% utilization while in game during a 2v2 with 1 player and 3 expert AI, and my GPU is down near 30% utilization at all time with the same circumstances. With this info in mind, I've provided an image down below of my settings before starting the game. My Settings In Game Finally, just a few quick notes. I noticed that with my sound quality all the way down, I was able to play at a more reasonable framerate for a longer period of time before it dipped to its normal slideshow. Also, by zooming in really far, I generally get 60fps, but I mean zoomed in really far. Thanks for reading. Please respond with any info that might help.

You could run SLI GTX 580's on that 750w Corsair however between your overclocked i5 would put you on or over the edge. You will see a upto 720w peak on the 12v rail if both gpu's are running 100%04dcarraher
That's what I was afraid of. And I need the OC too because I play ARMA a good bit which is highly CPU intensive. If I do SLI should I just go one step up to a 850W PSU or get something a little more powerful? Like 1000W?

What socket are we talking about here? Can't recommend a mobo if we don't know the socket.

I have a GTX 580 and I am thinking about SLI here in the near future. I have a Corsair 750TX PSU now, and I am wondering if it's even possible to boot with two GTX 580's on this PSU.

Damn, I'm really torn now between the GTX 570 and 580. I could get the SC 570 for the same price as any other normal 570, and not be missing out on too much though, and save some cash for the SSD. So I think I'll go for the 570 + SSD pairing.

Sounds good to me. If you love that fast boot speed than totally go for it. The difference between the 570 and 580 is fairly small all things considered.

This CPU is the same thing, but you have to overclock it yourself if you don't mind. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115070 That is an expensive motherboard. I'm not the best person to ask on them so wait for someone else to respond and they will tell you a good one. LordsLoss
The mobo he has picked out is really expensive yes, but it's a great board if you can pay for it.
