Ive had bad experiences with ATI, and absolutely none with nvidia and Ive been buying those products for years.

You won't be able to unless you put a different card in, but that will also be a good test to see if the video card or a different component is causing this problem, then you can update the bios

if that fails try testing the card in a different system, or exchange the card, this will let you know if you have a bad card.

If you don't have a bad card then most logical thing to look next would be either motherboard or power supply

look at the certified power supply they have tested, even though its for x fire you might as well go with what they have tested with.

they need a new company of heroes expansion or a modern war RTS that uses the Company and Warhammer 40k 2 engine.

I would love to see one thats modern day with heroes; company is pretty close, but they need more factions.

9600 is a mid range card and you can get a radeon 4850 for like less then 200 bucks that is almost like a high end card it beats out the 3870.

Can't go wrong with the price

They have certified components for running crossfire. These are all the components they have tested if its not on the list then they either have not tested the config or it did not pass their tests.
