Take on the new season thus far

Well, tonight marks the end of the first full week of the new season. And so far it's going pretty good, except that I now have to choose what to watch! Here's what I watched this week, and what I think I'll continue to follow Tuesday- 7:00 While Taping 'Gilmore Girls' and 'Supernatural's Premires, I tuned into the hour and thirty minute premire of 'The Biggest Loser 2'. The main thing I feared was that this year's cast wouldn't be as memorable or enjoyable as the first time around. But, so far its turning out great, although I agree with Jillian Nick will be a problem. ANd while I'm glad that Reuben got the boot, the guys blaming him solely on the loss was lame. After TBL went off, I took the opportunity to check out 'Gilmore Girls' and 'Supernatural'. First off, YES thank you Luke for finally saying yes to Lorelei's proposal! I hope that with Rory temporarily out of Yale that we don't see as much of Paris as we normally do. Liza Weil is certainly the scene stiller of this show, along with Emily Gilmore of course. When she met Michele in the house, a great scene. I love Michele's wit. On to 'Supernatural'. While not as scary as all the hype, it did provide with some creepy scenes. Padelecki and Ackles are top notch in this show. I do feel sorry for the little known Jess, but I mean you knew it was going to happen Dean, I mean Sam. Why couldn't he just keep his GG name lol. Thursday- Survivor 11, while last season was better than previous installments, I still couldn't enjoy it liek I wished. I loved Ulong and to see them decimated by the high drama Koror was a waste of the great characters on Ulong. But, that being said, Guatemala's premire was awesome. If it keeps up the intensity and pace the first ep had, it might just rival Outback as the best season. Lord knows it can surpass Marquesas, and Africa as my next fav seasons. The second episode of Reunion wasn't on due to Bush's speech, but I can't complain. Hopefully by the time the second ep airs, all the kinks from the first episode will be gone....hopefully. Friday- Saw an encore of the 'Bones' premire, and I'm kicking myself. While its an amazing show, I now have to choose between GG, TBL, and Bones for that time slot. And I only have two tvs.......if USA would pick up encores of TBL like they did last year it would all work out, but if not I'm gonna have to look for GG or Bones encores if I want to keep Bones in my lineup. Currently watching 'Threshold' and.......its ok. But out of 'Lost', and the other two newbies 'Surface' and 'Invasion', this seems to be the worst option. And so far I've not been proven wrong, its just too boring IMO. And is that Scanlon from NBC's 'Medium'?!?! I sure hope not, because I'd much rather have him on 'Medium' than this bad show. So, out of all the shows viewed this week, the only one I'm going to drop is 'Threshold' and unfortuantly 'Bones' if I can't find an encore presentation for one of those three shows. Man, this is going to be a hard season to pick and choose!
