The summer gave us some good shows, but fall is what I'm waiting for....

Figured I'd put this sick day to good use by posting my first tv.com blog. I normally don't get into tv during the summer, but this year I guess I was just extremely lazy and decided to tune into the old tube a lot ;) . Some great shows premired; The Closer, The Scholar, the 70s House(Great it may not be, but defiently a guilty pleasure) and Into The West was a spectacular mini-series. Also the new addition of Big Brother is enjoyable as well. All of these shows aside, this fall is something I can't wait to start. Here is what my fall viewing schedule will start out as: Sundays(Home to the beloved Crossing Jordan) Pretty much just sticking to Crossing Jordan here. No new shows coming from any of the major networks, and I never got into Grey's Anatomy Mondays 7:00- I'll give 'Surface' a chance, but I don't think any of these 'Lost' supernatural clones will fare well. 9:00- Go back for the highly anticipated 2nd season of 'Medium'. Tuesdays 7:00- Thanks to two VCR's I can check out both 'Gilmore Girls' and 'The Biggest Loser' 8:00- TAR 8 will get my prize, but I might pull out the old 2nd VCR for 'Bones' or 'Supernatural' 9:00- I loved Jennifer Finnigan on her waaaay too short Crossing Jordan role, so I'm glad CBS has given her a show; 'Close To Home' takes this spot Wednesdays 7:00- 'Apprentice-Martha Stweart' Didn't get into the Trump edition, but Martha's should be a good guilty pleasure. 8:00- 'Lost' but thanks to summer re-runs I was introduced to 'Veronica Mars' which is such a wonderful, and clearly underrated show. Deserving of VCR #2 for this night Thursdays 7:00- Survivor- While Outback was the best, and they've lost quality since, this show is just addictive. 8:00- with the decline in CSI's originality the other networks get the pleasure of enticing me of their shows ;), 'Everwood' moves to this night and will get one TV, and 'Reunion' looks promising and shall get VCR #2. 9:00- The old war horse 'ER' is still trucking, but with the loss of Noah in addition to the void left behind by Dr. Green(I realize that its been several years, but Anthony made this show) I don't know if Abby and Neela can carry it on much longer. Fridays-Normally not filled with primetime TV, but... 'Ghost Whisperer' while it is a 'Medium' clone and I'm sure that NBC will keep my viewership, I think that I should give it a try before waiving it off as a frivilous act of milking another networks success.
