Considering Gamespot is a United States company, can we at least use proper American English spelling when a review is posted? A little irritating to see "colour" and "defence" in these reviews.
Two weeks of compensation equals approximately $2.30 if you paid the full $60.00 for a year subscription to the service. You Xbox Live subscribers are about to be rolling in the dough!
@TheExxorcist: That's exactly what I was thinking when I read the article. Also, I find it unlikely the console didn't freeze or have a hardware failure throughout the time it was powered on is pretty unbelievable as well.
How is Evolve's DLC news? You ever look at Little Big Planet's offerings? 444 total DLC's that are at LEAST $.99 a piece. Regurgitate news articles from other sources much?
Doesn't even need to be a digital download. Still can be released retail, it would just require 3-5 disks and installing content on the hard drive. Not the most convenient, but not impossible like he's making it sound.
There's a difference between casual gaming and full fledged console titles. Bejewled, Tetris, Peggle, and Words with Friends aren't what this article is about.
I really don't understand Carolyn's persistent agenda on using the video game industry as an attempt to shed light on inequalities and lack of diversity in society. While she makes a good faith effort to confine her argument to gaming, her articles are nothing more than a feminist's viewpoint that women are not being represented properly. Unfortunately, Carolyn doesn't seem to realize that women are a small demographic in gaming, and the market drives the content of the games themselves.
The WNBA is a perfect example of what happens when a market is forced on the customer. I applaud the fact that an attempt was made to legitimize women's professional basketball, but the fact of the matter is, the league would not survive without the NBA's backing.
