I got my new laptop today. It's an Alienware M51. It is unbelievably faster than my old one. Graphics are amazing! Can't wait to play a few of my favourite games.

I'm a die-hard XBox fan. I have never owned a Playstation of any sort (except PSP), but now I find myself in the unfortunate position that I bought a PS3 solely for the Blu-Ray player. Every review said that it is still by far the best player on the market and cost less than half of machines that may be comparable. Pisses me off.

My wife finally let me get a new TV. I've literally been waiting years for this event. I got myself a 52" Sharp Aquos with 1080P. Holy cow does the 360 look amazing. Now Bioshock can scare me more.

:DI just completed Rainbow Six Vegas at Realistic difficulty and got the 100 point achievement. I know that other people have had this for a while, but not everyone has it and I have little time to play. It takes me longer and that's why I'm proud of it.

This is exactly the reason that I don't have any of those social networking sites. I don't bother updating very often, and when I do, I don't seem to have anything important to say. I still can't handle playing more than 3 or 4 games at a time without going crazy, and my job and family still don't allow enough game time. Maybe I should get rid of both and really focus on one thing......God, please don't let my wife see this!

The idea of having a LOTR: BFME II tournament was great.  It was the first tournament I've been a part of......and boy did I get my butt handed to me!  It was lots of fun though.  Maybe I'll do better another time.

I got my XBox 360 Gamer ID (or GiD as they call it) stickers in the mail the other day.  Thank goodness they finally arrived! I was pestering the mailman daily, are they here yet, are they here yet, but to no avail....What it all that is holy are we supposed to do sith these lame stickers??? Are they supposed to go on my car? Perhaps on the door to my house?  Perhaps in my sticker album, because all 7 year old girls can afford a 360!  Was that meant to impress me? You want to impress me, release some good games!

I had to quit my job at EB Games.  I was no longer able to justify $8/hour for a once a week job.  I have a career, and that on top of the EB job was taking away from my kids.  I have enough actual money to support my game habit, so I don't have to keep the job.  Too bad, I used to like it a lot.

So EB Games asked me if I wanted a job. That's great, a second job that pays me to play games and I get a discount. Merry Christmas again.

When I asked what the total is for the PSP at EBGames (not that it's been announced, so I wanted to see) they said it is $480 CDN. I laughed. The Japanese launch was only $185 US, so it will likely be around $250 CDN or so. But it was worth the laugh.
