1. halo (xbox), the original, it may have not had online multiplayer but is had the best storyline i've ever played 2. Battlefield 1942 (PC), i got on to the online side of the game very late on but the game is too good and it is by far the best world war two (except for my next choice) 3. Call of Duty (PC), still enjoyed by many, i have found out that some gamers like myself enjoy playing the older, prequel games than the Battlefield 2's or Call of Duty 2's, a masterpiece of gaming excellence made of the back of Medal of Honour's designers leaving. Thank God they did! 4. Operation Flashpoint : Elite (xbox), more twists and turns than a mountain road, the game was just pure brilliance, the showdown between NATO and Russia on small islands. There were however some downfall, such as, poor plane controls, weird sensation when running and lack of other NATO countries but their weapons, but never the less a superb game which brings me hours of mindless violence 5. i wish i could have all the Ghost Recon game with me (except jungle storm and GRAW)but this is impossible so i must chose and i have chosen the first Ghost Recon. This game was my second ever game for my PS2 and i still play it today. Its mix of very good storyline and specialists which add varity to the missions, i recommend buying this game somehow after you read this because it could be as good, or better as i think, than the latest additions to the Ghost Recon world! hope you enjoyed reading about my retro choices of favourite games that i would take on the next life, on to a island or another planet! Thanks
