I just bought my 40gb ps3 and have connected it to the internet through a wireless network. but occasionally i lose connection. I don't think it's the router because signal strength is strong, unless there's a problem with ps3's and wireless N-routers. The ps3 did get a little hot, the air coming out the back was around 88 degrees fahrenheit (don't noe if that is normal).

So does ne one else have wireless connection problems after using thier ps3 for a while?

It comes with a dvd player, but I can't find anywhere that says it can upconvert. Does ne one noe if it can?

And btw, the dvd player is pretty crap. it takes around 20 seconds from the time i push the open button to the time the tray actually pops out, I would give up the 5-disc changer option for quicker response. plus it takes longer than it should to load up a dvd. It also acts as the central hub for all the speakers so Sony's got me tied to thsi piece of crap that can't even play mpeg-4s.
