i plan on purchasing a new 40 inch 1080p samsung lcd i currently have my xbox with component cables but no hdmi. If i use the component cables will i be able to play the games in full 1080p or will i need an hdmi cable for that and if so is it available and compatible with the older pro edition xbox thank you

My question is that if i play a 1080p compatible game will it run at 1080p with the component cables or do i have to use a hdmi cable?

i use a wireless connection and it works perfectly, you just need to have the router not too far away
