Hello, I'm about to buy myself a gaming laptop, and I've got arround 1600-2000 to spend. Thing is, I don't understand mobile chips all that much, and am having trouble figuring out what to buy. Presently, I'm thinking about an Asus or Alienware rig. Asus seems to be the most affordable with good specs, but is it realiable enough?
Another question is about mobile processors... wich would be optimal, a dual core with higher clock speeds such as the i7-620m or a quad core with slower clocks such as the i7-720qm and the likes?
About mobile graphics, wich one is the better, an GTS360M from nvidia or a HD5870 from ATI?
Are there other brands I should consider before I buy? I'm not sure I trust Asus enough, but Alienware seems rather overpriced when compared. AND they only have older graphics options, in this case the GT 240M and the GTX60M... Considering Ill be playing all the newest and most demanding games on this, I think this will be huge bottleneck...
Thanks in advance for all the help! =]
