If you're thinking of importing, you'll have to watch out for customs. Not only will they open the package, they'll mess with it then look up how much it'd be to buy in the UK and charge you that plus extra for the effort.

A friend of mine ordered an airsoft weapon(BBgun) from the states, when it came he had to pay £60 at the door, even though it initially cost £40, and if he'd bought it in the UK it would have cost £70 total, on top of that, it was gassed and had clearly been used.

As i said to one of your earlier posts, I'm sure for more than 5 dead pixels you can claim a replacement... Correct me if I'm wrong.

Grand theft auto: Liberty city stories - As you can imagine, I was more than displeased when Rockstar launched it on the PS2 and even more so when out-right broke a promise of not launching Vice City Stories on the PS2 too...

Burnout Legends - I never really got into the console series but had had endless fun on my friend's Playstation 2 version of one of them, I forget which.

Monster hunter freedom - Combined with Xlink Kai, this has to be one of my most played PSP games.

I could name a load more but you only asked for three. :P

I'd like to see some of the classic PC games, things like Terminal Velocity, Descent, Doom 2, Duke Nukem, Quake and obviously Half-life, with the amount of storage on the PSP memory cards, it should be possible to get mods too, I mean how cool would it be to play Sven Co-op, online... From a PSP?

1. It was ether a PSP or a Wii did I choose right?N_Six

If you were looking for a "virtual console" then the PSP is the right choice, after all, there's a lot of homebrew out there...

You have to look at the two types of gameplay you'd be having... I mean you buy them for different purposes, the Wii you'd buy to play at home, you sit (or stand up) and play after a hard day (just to exhaust yourself some more). It's a console, so it's not really going anywhere with you but it does have a completely different interface, the wii remote allows for different gameplay for obvious reasons.

2. memory stick keeps poping out y?N_Six

Are you sure it's inserted properly? Hold the unit with the screen towards you, as if you were playing it, turn the memory stick so that the contacts (gold/metal bits) are facing you and insert it with the metal bits going in first. There should be a small amount of resistance, but only a spring. It'll "click" and lock into place.

3. finger mark all over my new psp is there anything to protect it?N_Six

You can get screen protectors, I personally like the 4gamers players kit, it comes with a cleaning cloth, wrist strap, screen protector, UMD cases and replacement nubs.

4. what do I use to clean the finger marks?N_Six

5. can someone recemnd me a game? i just got Atv which is really borring..N_Six

I can recommend a lot of games, you may want to try Burnout legendswhich is now available at a greatly reduced price, it's one the better games that came out early and still looks fantastic on the PSP, I hear Burnout dominator is better but haven't personally tried it.

If you're into the Japanese-esqué RPG games, you may want to try Monster Hunter Freedom, it's got all the giant-sword-slinging-monster-hunting action you'd ever want on a handheld.

If you're into flight sims, there's Ace combat X which is an arcadey flight sim with a well made story/campaign mode.

There's the platformers like Daxter, I personally haven't tried it but it comes highly recommended from a lot of players.

Tekken: Dark resurrection is there for you if you like fighting games, or there's Shin budokai of you like your fighting games with a side of Dragonball Z.

You don't NEED to go from AGP just yet, nVidia recently announced they're launching the 8600GT and 8600Ultra for AGP(http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=37790), surprisingly. But if you're planning an upgrade, better to go with PCI-E, the only reason you'd want to go with an AGP direct X 10 card is if you're an early adopter for Vista and don't want to have to reformat just to upgrade your graphics card.

Last year it would have been more logical to go with a high end single-core CPU, but now there are more and more games being developed to take advantage of dual-core cpus and they're at a sensible price point too. Just remember, your older games won't perform as well on a lower frequency dual core as they would on a higher frequency single core cpu, of the same family. (e.g. Athlon 64 vs Athlon 64 X2) That's because the older games will only use one of the cores and the other will just sit there twiddling it's virtual thumbs. But yeah, for the future, go with dual core.

I think there's hope, but they should release more than one player. Maybe have a portable DVD player equivalent but much smaller and have it play UMDs and obviously a smaller price tag would help a great deal. I own one UMD movie, I only bought it to say I had one. :S
