Months later, I'm sure you found out by now. But just in case you didn't, this game has nothing to do with the Neverwinter Nights games other than being set in the city of Neverwinter. But it can be played for the most part as a singleplayer game. You'll bump into other players all the time, but there are large sections that are instances which only you can access. People are creating loads of small quests and stories that you can take part in. The main game itself ends in MMORPG style group combat, but you don't have to take part.

There's no limits that I've seen. I'm not sure why people are saying it's pay to win. You can pay real money for cosmetics and a few unique items if you want to, but they're not needed and the game has more than enough free content to easily fly through the main game.

Haven't gotten to the point where I've gained an ultimate ability (with so few heroes available, it seems to make sense to wait before I start grinding characters), but I think you just store the duplicate until you're ready to upgrade your ultimate ability.

It's not a pay to win game because there's nothing you can buy that can help you win. It's just an overly expensive comic cash-in.

They've recently changed the drop rate for new characters, so all NPC's have a chance of dropping them as loot, but it's still an incredibly low change.

Don't forget the fact that you can randomly get a character you already have and it's not even a bug, it's part of the game "design".

jampoz
You use duplicate character drops to level up your characters ultimate power. It's a logical design.

DeadPool Premium pack. I have not been able to play beta at all and there is not enough video's of gameplay to really decide. But, DeadPool's premium pack came with 6 costumes and $80 bucks In-game currency (not, bad when you only spent $60), so to me that was the better deal. I can now pick the other heroes that I may want to use when more info is released. What do you guys think?

DaDizzel
Well the Deadpool pack contains Pirate Deadpool, so that makes it worth any price they demand for it! :D I'm tempted to buy one of th packs myself, but will wait until more info on the game is being released. From what I've read, they're actually listening to feedback from the betas and changing large chunks of the game, I'm not expecting anything too deep, gameplay wise, but it looks fun. And I loved the Marvel Alliance games. If I'm going for a pack, I'll probably go for the Avengers Assemble pack.
