@meatz666 @hundredand @ejay_kain True, but it's somewhat the same here in the US. Of course Reservations and casinos will never fix what has been done, but the government tried, just like Australia's government. But the conditions of both native peoples shows that discrimination and oppression is rampant. Also, something more on topic, I withhold my judgement on the console until E3.
@DiamondDM13 @hundredand I would say iphone has completely changed mobile phones, look at them all these days!
And I'll say it again, Americans don't care it's an American console, they buy foreign products all the time! It was just better marketed for American audience. The US is the birthplace of the FPS (or at least where it was popularized), of course we love it! Sorry if it makes you mad, but Americans just like the games on the 360 more than the PS3. And it does sell modestly well in EU and dominates in Canada and the UK.
@DiamondDM13 @hundredand First of all, you can get a blu-ray player for $50 now, less than the $100 difference between the ps3 and 360. Secondly, less and less people actually use blu-ray and prefer to stream media online, at least over here.
You are correct in the matter of Apple, in which it is a matter of opinion for people, though most sites and articles I have read claim Apple has higher quality hardware, build, screen res, and multi-touch than any other product.
And sure, video call existed in phones before the iphone 4, so what? That wasn't the main feature of the product and I can guarantee you people didn't buy it for that sole feature. They buy it for quality and customer service. Indeed, the iphone tops the field when it comes to product satisfaction and reliability. I definitely do have some issues with Apple myself, but look at your own phone; you think it would look like that if Apple hadn't revolutionized the mobile phone market with the first iphone? I don't think so.
Despite the 360 having some better qualities, like games (in my opinion), or online play, I honestly don't care much for it. In fact I own a ps3 (though I generally game on PC). I take issue with the fact that you put down people for owning a system, chalking it up to the fact that they're American, and therefore 'dumb' when in fact I find that many countries and their cultures are ignorant of others, just look at yourself. There are MANY reasons to choose a 360 over a ps3 and vice-versa. And I do attribute some of the strong Apple sales to customer loyalty and, to some extent, fanboyism, the very thing you seem to be displaying for Sony. Get over yourself, quit being such a snob and just play your games.
@DiamondDM13 Apple products are certainly made with higher quality material, at least many people believe this, thus they buy it. This coincides with what you said about the PS3. Many people get it because it is of a higher quality build. The PS3 and 360 GENERALLY have the same games. Now tell me, why are you contradicting yourself? The argument could be made that all you Europeans are quite dumb for buying a console that is more expensive, yet does the same thing.
@DiamondDM13 @KimCheeWarriorX @ITLM16 Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but I'll take the bait. Living here in the States, people don't care that it's an American console, most don't even think about it. The Wii sold very well here and the PS3 does modestly. Now take Japan for an example. They completely shun the 360 because it's a foreign console, the same thing has happened in the past. So before you spew your Eurosnob BS, try to research these things. I'm tempted to say all you Europeans are completely dumb.
