I couldn't agree more. Over the holiday my friend, who shares his PSN account with me, got PS+ and it reaffirmed what I already knew. XBL Gold is a ripoff, plain and simple. There was a time when the fee was justified but Sony finally caught up and ultimately surpassed MS's offering. If MS starts giving away games to gold subscribers then I'm sure these criticisms will go away, but that's just not Microsoft's MO. I also blame Microsoft for DLC and the detrimental effect it's had on gaming but that's another conversation entirely.
