Is it just me or is trying to avoid world of warcraft impossible...? i used to play it and it was a bloody brilliant game, but i had to stop playing for many reasons (exams, girlfriend, no money). its been about a year and a half since i touched the game, but since the release of cataclysm i cannot get away from thinking "it would be so awesome to play again". I was in a pub tonight with a friend after an exam and she went out for a smoke, and while i was waiting the advert for cataclysm came on. And when surfing the web there are adverts on every website about it, either cataclysm or a free trial. I suppose it just goes to show how effective advertising is. I'd imagine that there are many people like me who used to play and have seen the current splurge of adverts on cataclysm and have been drawn in by its firey glow. But i suppose world of warcraft isnt everything, ill have to distract myself with other things till the splurge clears.
