Well, first off they are both great games, and there is no point of getting either if you dont have online
It really depends on what type you want to play
If you want to play more realistic, hugely modded, less buggy game then get CSS
If you want one that has vehicles, planes, etc, and huge maps,less realistic, though you may have to endure quite a few bad glitches then get BF2, also it is reccomended that you find one good server with nice and fair admin or else you will just get lots of people that will ruin the game.

Obviously you don't play battlefield 2 or source or you wouldn't be saying Source is realistic. Source is a good game, don't get me wrong, but it is the furthest thing from realism. Also, all those "facts" you are saying about less realism, bad glitches, and bad admins that "ruin the game"...well lets just say NONE of them are true. Most if not all of the glitches have been fixed and I haven't run across a bad admin once in my playing, and I have been playing since release.
