Because:
1. Best Game Library: What do the 360 and the Wii have in comparision to the PS3's library? Super Mario Galaxy 2? Gears of War? Twilight Princess? Halo 3? Sure, they are great games, but the PS3's exclusive library clearly has the most memorable and outstanding titles, like Uncharted 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, God of War III and much more.
2. Most Powerful System: Forget all the contested claims- it's very clear that the PS3 is more powerful than the XBox 360, period. The 360 isn't even capable of true 1080p, and it has to upscale. Whereas the Xbox 360 is a powerful console too, nothing can match the might afforded to the PS3 by the Cell.
3. Blu-Ray: While the storage medium may not help in games looking any better than they really are, the PS3 having Blu-ray means that infinitely more complex games with real physics and stuff can be made for the system. The XBox 360 having DVD 9 as its storage format is significantly crippled.
4. Free Online Service: Xbox LIVE might be slightly better, but I'd rather have the ability to play my games online without worrying about paying. I mean, if we've already paid for the game when we were buying it, why pay to play it online? That's just plain dumb.

1. Goes to XBOX 360 IMO but that is all either of us are saying is opinion 2. Not True, the GPU in the XBOX 360 is actually superior as to where the CPU has a slight advantage on PS3 so this is more of a tie, oh and PS3 has RAM issues. 3. Blu-Ray while nice has done nothing for gaming, its more to do with SONY wanting to win a format war nothing more. 4. PSN is free because it would be laughed out of the industry if they charged for it in its current state, PSN+ is currently being laughed out of the industry.
