Thats exactly what i heard that depending what the person is doing with their hacked console/copied games usually depends when they get banned. I know ppl who play copied games for ages but then microsoft do bulk banning on all these people. Other people who hack their gamer score get dealt with differently, basically its not worth it because nobody gets away with it for long its better to just buy games or use a rental site if you want to play lots at low cost[QUOTE="iMacks"][QUOTE="XenoLair"]Ban waves usually go out right before a big title is released (there was one before ODST and MW2 I believe). Microsoft does have to find the "corrupted" consoles though. They all ways do and I wouldn't be surprised if 500k people are banned a week before GOW3 is released.Gen007
The thing is though that during these ban waves MS has only been banning consoles not GT's. Most of the pirates just go out and get another xbox and still get to use their GT so it's really not stopping them.
Yeh i noticed this, its almost like xbox dont mind people cheating as long as they're making money from it so let people keep the tags to recover on new xbox's
