So here is the deal. My collectionfor theXbox 360 consists of about 47 games. That may not being many to most, or myself, but I feel as though there is just never enough time to play them all.I'm on Active Duty in the United States Coast Guard so I have a very small window to play games when I'm home with my wife as it is. Lately, I've noticed I can't decide on what to play anymore.
Last week was Double XP so I played Call of Duty: Black Ops, but I wanted to play Gears of War 2 to be ready for the beta, but play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for some third-person action, but play Bulletstorm because I just bought it, but play Halo: Reach because I've barely played it since I bought it, but play Assassin's Creed Brotherhood for the new DLC.
It's just insane! There are too many good games to play them all! And this isn't including the impressive lineup for 2011. Such as Homefront, Gears of War 3, Crysis 2, Battlefield 3, L.A. Noire, Dragon Age II, DiRT 3, Dead Island, Ghost Recon, etc. etc.
Am I the only person facing this problem lately?
With the recent rumor of a new Grand Theft Auto game being created (code named Rush), I'd love to see the series revisit Los Angeles. The capability of these new consoles on a game like that could be very impressive.
Possibly Two Worlds? A few buddies and myself had so much fun playing on that P.O.S. lag-infested game and we can never explain why. The shier silly-ness of it all was amazing.
*edit.
". . . and system capabilities? (If you could only choose one console)."
Yes, you guessed it correctly. I'm talking about Microsoft's XBOX 360 or Sony's Playstation 3.
Being a fanboy to one or the other has never interested me. Both companies know exactly what they are doing and howto please the consumer;us. Unfortunately, the time has come where I must decide between the two.
First-Person, Third-Person Shooters, and Racing Games have always peaked my interest and held a special place in my heart. The Playstation 3 has great exclusives such as God of War, Metal Gear Solid 4, MAG, UnchartedWarhawk, Final Fantasy,Motostorm, ModNation, InFamous, Resistance, Killzone, and Socom: Confrontation. On the other hand, the XBOX 360 has games like Mass Effect, Gears of War, the Halo series, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfigh, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell, and Crackdown.
Both consoles have some of the best multi-platform games as well. You know what I'm speaking of. Games such as Call of Duty, Red Dead Redemption, Fallout, Assassin's Creed, Madden, NBA, Battlefield, etc. I could go on and on.
2011 is going to be a huge year for us. Games such as Gears of War 3, Homefront, SOCOM 4, and Battlefield 3 are coming out. Just to nameafew. The question I'm proposing is: Which console should I being playing right now and in the future in terms of game exclusives, graphics, online community, DLC, and system capabilities? (If you could only choose one console).
I'm uncertain if I should keep my current XBOX 360 with a large array of games, or trade it for a new Playstation 3 to be ready for SOCOM 4. Help! :D
To get more bang for your buck, I would reccomend Call of Duty: Black Ops and Red Dead Redemption.
Call of Duty has an amazing leveling system that keeps you playing everytime just to squeeze out one more level for that next unlockable. Red Dead Redemption has an imense open world and story that gives you endless options on what to do. You will definitely get your money's worth with these titles.
I still use the microphone that came packaged with my Xbox 360. I have an amazing surround sound so I believe a Turtle Beach headset might actually hinder my gaming experience. I only have it set for peoples voices to come through the headset.
Okay, so I have been completely out of the loop. To this day I have never even touched a single Fable title. The games always seemed to slightly spark my interest, but not enough to go out and spend $60.00 on one.
With Fable 3 coming out, would I be able to easily hop right in and play it? What kind of back story does the Fable series have? Why should I purchase this game?
