I am not getting the normal excitement levels from E3 this year. Just saying i am underwhelmed maybe i need time to digest.

All right! I just reached level 20, Metal Slime! It has been quite the long haul taking one year and two days short of a month. Is this typical for most people?

My only concern is that I still feel like a noob around here. I get quite frustrated when I miss chances to earn emblems, or cannot find things (like the stock quotes for our favs).

My favorite is the people. I have met some talented people, like minded, and others with similiar interests outside of gaming.

My goal over the next year is to get more active posting with video review of games. I want to learn how to make banners and art, and meet more people. I also would like to attend a game convention.

I am the new owner of a tv and computer. This weekend I purchased a 32" Vizio Plasma for gaming and a 24" I mac computer. I am soo excited. Whick makes me wonder what my associates at GS use.

Any advice on getting it all in sync with my 360? I saw somewhere a program to run 360 with an apple. What other ideas do you have. I use direct tv with a dvr, imac will have a ati card.

I know grading is a hot topic. I of course do not expect all scores to be the same but I would anticipate them to be in the same ballpark. With that said I am getting really confused. The two sites I use the most to determine my purchases are Gamespot and Xplay on G4.

They scored Star Wars the Force Unleased 7.5 and 2 stars of five respectively. I equate that to 75% and 40%. Now how does the average gamer use that to determine purchases. It seems that I am seeing this variance way more than in the past. It is also relative when we remember the controversial firing of a former editor. Another example is Too Human. I just finished the game and really dont get the 5.5 it received. While it is not a ten its guite a bit better then that. I game it 7.5 but would probably make it 7. The game has potential, alot actually. What if that low score prevents sales and the remaining two games dont get made, I think we all lose out.

I would really like to hear your thoughts and opinions as we enter the big release season. I think I will be renting many games before purchase.

We are entering the big season for new game releases. I am really wondering about my "wish list." Right now there are like twenty games I am considering purchasing. Obviously some will have to be rentals but I am wondering what the rest of my friends here are doing.

I dont know why but I have a strong compulsion to get Maddeb 09 just to play Farve as a Jet and beat the Packers. IMO he got hosed by them. I am a diehard Steelers fan but have alot of respect for him and the Pack until this nightmare. I know he is not without fault, but I cannot get over the silliness. Not to mention just being sick and tired of hearing about it every day. Thank you all and good luck Brett!

Weeeeellllll, the 17th was my birthday and I did nothing, just a quiet night at home with e3 and anticipating the new Batman movie. I still am not quite sure how I feel about e3. It seems like a lot went on but I dont feel excited. What do you think? Nintendo seemed very quiet and Sony seems to be making ground. I have noticed that I am more excited about games on PS3 for the first time. Some interesting titles are coming.

Is it just me or has anyone noticed the lack of advertising for the Xboox 360? I specifically am noticing this in Best Buy adds. They are also prominately featuring PS3s with big 1080p tvs. I personally don't care about Bluray but maybe it is a differece maker. Don't get me wrong I am not one of the haters, I want to see strong level competition because I feel that means the best games for us. I do get worried about creativity in games with all the recent studio mergers.

Well Spring is upon us and I thought I would do some spring cleaning. This is usually the time of the year that I slow down on my gaming activities. I love being outdoors riding my mountain bike and jet skiing on the Mississippi, as well as, grilling out and watching the Cubs. (I'm in Clinton, IA if anyone wants to check)

With that said, I am looking forward to some games that are coming soon, like Too Human, Alan Wake, SW The Force, Gears 2, Borderland, and Prototype. We probably won't see these until winter, but they are on the list. Soooo, I look at my collection and gamerpoints to see what I have not paid enough attention to and what achievments I want to shore up.

Culdcept Saga- I love this game but only have 180 achievements. They are just tough to get so I am going to try to balance my time with the rest.

Assassins Creed, Condemned 2, and Gears I- I just have not spent time enough with these games. Most I have done first chapter, with Gears I did the single player. I still cannot kill General Ramm at the end which is really bugging me. I guess I would blame COD4 for the lack of attention.

Ultimate Alliance - I have about three hundred achievments to finish. I don't know if this will happen it takes guite a bit of time to play through and the individual comic challenges.

Bioshock - Have just a few left to get and would really like to play through this game again. It was gorgeous. I cannot say enough. It was my number 1 game last year.

Well thats it for the closet. Anyone else have games they are looking to finish, new issues they are looking forward to, or any comments on spring activities?

Well my long trip ended short after running out of money and being needed back home. (my grandfather somehow blew up his car and at 83 years old doesnt need to go shopping without me, a former Lexus salesman lol).

I will be picking up Condemned 2, I cannot wait for this game!!!
