Biohazard/Resident Evil 4

Well, I got a chance to sit down with the demo for quite a bit longer this weekend. I love the changes, but I also find myself wishing for the other iterations of the RE franchise that it started out as: possession, shadowy hook dude, etc. Even if they're not "biohazard" games, just like Devil May Cry started as RE4 and ended up being its own franchise. Because I actually prefer DMC to RE, and I may enjoy these games a little more. I did notice that some of the environments from early iterations of RE4 closely resemble areas in Demento.

One thing that takes a while to get used to in RE4 is the camera. It's somewhat intuitive since it takes the track that a number of over-the-shoulder games have taken, but it has moved the camera about two feet to the right. This makes it strange to get used to at first since it feels like most 3D shooters feel when the camera is stuck in the wall at an odd angle. After playing for a while, it becomes second nature, though.
