As some people have mentioned, all MMOs have a degree of 'grinding' to them. If you can't tolerate that then you should pick up something else. The Orange Box is a good one. A bundle of games that would do very well on their own, for the price of one.

The author of the article posted in the HG:L forums yesterday. Seems that he didnt know that the crappy pictures he used were a result of FSS's sloppy fix for memory leaks, by reducing resolution on other player's avatars. That point probably wouldnt be there if he used pictures of his own avatar for comparison instead.

At this point, i'd advise you to wait until they got all their problems sorted out first. The game is buggy, unpolished, unbalanced, and the subscription fiaso is still on-going. They might be able to fix some of them by the Dec patch, so you might wanna wait until then.

I found it funny, if a bit true...unfortunately.

HG:L is a fun and addictive Action RPG, but suffers from alot of bugs at the moment, some of which are pretty game-breaking.
There's a patch coming in December that'll add alot of content, so you might wanna check it out then.

What is "Knights of the Nine" exactly? Falconoffury

It's one of the many modules you can purchase off the oblivion website. There are many such modules but only one expansion pack: Shivering Isles.
