Just coming off a high from MGS5: The Phantom Pain, anyone got good recs? Looking for something fun, preferably not an fps, that's fun to trophy hunt on.

Oh, this one's easy. NBA Live 08 for the Wii. Me and my brother naively bought a wii thinking the sports games would be fantastic - wii sports was - but the nba game was the most tragic thing I've ever played. Not only were the motion controls actual dogshit that didnt feel anything like playing basketball, there were so many awful bugs and just straight up things that shouldn't happen. For instance, you could consistently hit layups from the three point line. LAYUPS, for christ's sake.
Also lmao at someone listing snake eater... I understand not liking the mechanics of the game, but seriously, the second you start it up and get the theme song on the main title screen immediately makes it not the worst game ever.
Hi,
GS: IcedGunt, PSN: IcedGunt
PS3
I've only recently reacquired a PS3, so I'm looking to populate my friends list a little. Mostly looking for other people who like trophy hunting etc. But I do play some games online. At the moment I'm just spamming MGSV: TPP
@prognosticon: It doesn't PERFECTLY fit your description, but is it by any chance heroes of might and magic? The first one was 1995 so its possible
@poe13: Yeah the prequels overarching plot was super weird and the script was pretty meh, lots of weird as hell lines. Honestly still a big fan of all three tbh. The one thing I think they did really right compared to every other star wars movie is world building. Stuff like podracing, the coruscant undercity, geonosis etc, really not stuff you see in the OT or in the more recent films (which is my major gripe with TFA and R1)
@marius4: hmm I don't really know too many shooting games, but i can say that there's a heap of games based in ww2 with a jungle theme haha. Medal of Honor comes to mind? Try this list i suppose https://www.lifewire.com/world-war-ii-first-person-shooters-813071
@Cheddarchet: Honestly the side quests were so good though... The dark brotherhood, that one super paranoid guy. And my favourite thing was probably that town in the middle of nowhere where you get attacked if you sleep at the inn. Really lovecraft-y.
@poe13: Haha yeah I had hundreds of hours and barely even did the main q line at all. I just hated the oblivion gate world vs the standard overworld.
Honestly I don't know much about season passes, but DLC is either really good or really awful. DLC should always feel like an extra side-game, or a new, shorter game. If the DLC is just missing content from the core game, or something that actively makes the normal gameplay much improved yet is only available through DLC, that's a problem.
But honestly most DLC stuff that I see on steam are skin packs and whatnot, which are fine. Can anyone give me a quick rundown of whats normally in a season pass?
@RSM-HQ Shivering Isles is probably my favourite expansion in any game! It's exactly what DLC should be. A different experience of the same base game.
I know this is kind of a joke, but I do find game scores useful. But it should absolutely be on a scale of 1-5, not 1-10. When reviewers only use from 5-10 it kinda defeats the purpose. 1-5 is pretty easy. 1 is literal shit. 2 is a bad game. 3 is average. 4 is a good game. 5 is a phenomenal game. Can't really **** that up as a reviewer.
would get rid of shit like "5/10 literally unplayable"
@mrbojangles25: Bait detected
Racer was a hugely popular and successful game that's fun as hell, as anyone who's played it will tell you.
Also episode 3 has far and away the most jokes about its script lel
