in the 3D setting i just set Multi- GPU performance mode to single gpu and recorded the same FPS as both Nvidia Recommended and forced alternate rendering.
Also i ran stone giant and had 0 fps difference with multi gpu disabled compared to enabled.
I just started running some tests with this benchmark. First test: Multi GPU Disabled: average fps of 19.6 Second: Multi GPU Enabled: average fps of 26 roughly
So what this is telling me that with my 2 gpu's rendering i only get an increase of 5 or 6 fps. I watched the benchmark closely after i tried altering some setting in my nvidia control panel and i noticed that the FPS in the benchmark appeared to be capped at 30 for some reason. through most of the benchmark i was reading 29.9 and it would never hit 30. Is it possible that for some reason my FPS is capped at 30? And why am i only getting an increase of 6 fps when i add an additional GPU?
I bought my evga x58 mobo last year and all of the sudden my audio stoped working. Somehow the jack must of gotten damaged because all of the other jacks work. Anyway i bought this 8 dollars USB stereo sound thing and that was working fine up until today. I tried using skype for the first time with it and there went my audio. I can unplug and replug for about 1 minute of sound before it stops. The volume control appears to be frozen when this happens.
Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, system restore, resetting bios, and loading windows on a second hard drive. No luck.
