BOURDAIS DENIES DOUBTS ABOUT F1 FUTURE
Sebastien Bourdais has rubbished reports that the German Grand Prix will be his last for Scuderia Toro Rosso.
Reports in the French media claimed that the 30-year would be dropped after this weekend's race at the Nurburgring in favour of a Red Bull junior - possibly new reserve driver Jaime Alguersuari.
But Bourdais dismissed reports as "rumour" and that there had been no discussions with the team on the subject.
"This rumour has been around since the middle of last season," Bourdais told AUTOSPORT. "What can I say? I haven't received any notice from the team that this is my last race so as far as I am concerned it is still a rumour.
"I've got a job to do and that's what I've got to concentrate on. I can't control what people say or where it is coming from.
"It's very unfortunate but there's nothing we can do about it. Someone puts it out and now it is all over the place."
Bourdais, who has scored points twice so far this season, added that he had a contract to complete the season with Toro Rosso and that he has no plans to drop out of F1.
"I've got a contract to do all of the races and that's what I'm planning to do," he said. "The only thing I can say is that I am in the car and that's all that matters."

Bourdais should be fired. He has not done much either year.
