well, now i'm not sure what to get again...lol.

I now know that i will get crysis eventually. it's probably the cheapest of the bunch anyway. i played the demo and it rocked...so yah, looking forward to that.

i bought a ps3 because that's the only way i could play madden...and blue ray had won the war...

but i'll never give up the solemnity of mousing my way through cool games on the pc...

consoles are like magazines...all flash. pc's are more like dictionaries...you gota think to use one.

i think i will go with mass effect. i find myself on ebay trying to find it new. but alas time to go to best buy this weekend and fork out some money's, i guess. i'll have to put off getting a rim for my car till later lol.

hi. i'm buying a computer or ...getting it tomorrow.

i'm wondering which game i should get to showcase it to myself...not huge on the shooters like half life, but i may yet get mass effect or fallout 3...not sure which or if i should just go with crysis...or something else.

first i'm going to complete the original campaign for nwn2. i look forward to that. i may load up dirt or gtr 2 too.

my fiance's laptop is a 'gaming' vista laptop with a go 7900 in it...the drivers suk! or are non exhistant.

i'm not bashing vista just saying it was released a year early. nvidia and microsoft need to shake hands and agree to work together.

my cp is a 3800 dual core

2 gig ram

8800gts 320 meg

my monitor is a syncmaster flat screen.

my question is this...@ 1280 x 1024...what kinda setting should i be looking to set it at? i need to have at least 30 fps all the time.

Eh, its pretty demanding. I have a e4400@ 2.66 / 2 gigs of Patriot / 8800 GTS 320 factory o'ced. I have problems running it at 1400 * 900 with 4 x AA and high settings not ultra. I actually keep the physics/shadows/reflections low and its iffy.

Thought it runs at like 1380 * XXX flawlessly. Just when I hit the next resolution the fps is not to my liking.
