Hmm, interesting. I actually never heard of that game and can't roll it out. I'll check it out. Any others?

1. Unreasonable load times
2. Bad acting
3. Big, bouncing breasts
Hmmm Maybe BLOOD 2? or but your a samurai called Lu Wang real funny awesome game 'Lu Wang drop soap, maybe you bend over and pick it up hahaha'Skinon
Nope, not Blood 2: The Chosen -- I played the hell out of that game. And not Shadow Warrior either (Lo Wang). Arx Fatalis isn't a bad guess but that was later.
Maybe I should just e-mail Romero. He's not doing a helluva lot these days except lionizing his present girlfriend, endorsing failing projects and anticipating the anniversaries of his past achievements. Pity. I liked the guy as I used to think he was a really good personality for the gaming industry. Sadly, he's lost all relevance...
Nah, not Undying, that was around 2001 I think. Definitely not Quake or any id Software game because I'd have known it.
Damn.
Nope, id Software is. Look at Quake Live (www.quakelive.com). 'Nuff said.
Hell no, man. Honestly, the geek/nerd stigma and immaturity really started to get to me when I was in college for Game Art & Design so I shifted gears and went into Graphic Design instead. I don't at all regret the decision and I don't miss games but I don't deny they served a purpose. And don't get me wrong, I still game, even got back into consoles with Playstation 3 but I can't be the shut-in like I was. There are more intriguing and challenging things than top scores, or completed games and puzzles.
I'm somewhat perplexed that you excluded the original Metal Gear Solid from your list of great music, or that you fail to mention any of the Final Fantasy games. While they don't have orchestral scores, I think their use of MIDI or other means makes it more interesting and creative. The original DOOM music gets me pumped every time I jump in there and start gunning, especially those who've made covers with electric guitar. Those melodies are brilliant, listen to how Sonic Clang accentuates them here:

Hmm...John Romero and about ten years ago? My best guess, ignoring everything else you said, would be Daikatana, although that was a really horrible game.
AFraud
I have that but that was more of a stealth, ninja-like FPS if I'm not mistaken. That, too, I didn't get through.
$29.99, period. Game developers have gotten way too arrogant and serious about their products and are robbing customers. And don't even get me started on gaming consoles. But the same goes for Hollywood. A game is a game. It's not an OS, it can't be used for anything other than mindlessness and escapism, though we see people breaking the bank on these things. Tells us something about modern society I think, going into debt over video games?
I can't believe Metal Gear Solid or Resident Evil weren't mentioned. And are we for some reason excluding early PC gaming? Wolfenstein 3D and DOOM would be there for sure, Warcraft, Civilization, etc.
Ah, those were the days...
