I just got a PS3 from Amazon.com and wanted to get the rebate. Amazon sent some sort of paper that looks like the shipping order. Does that count for a receipt? Rebate also wants the UPC barcode which I assume to be the POS bar code on the top. If I cut it off, I know I can't return the item but not sure of what else I would lose. In addition to above questions, also wondering what you need to send in if my PS3 ever breaks. Thanks in advance.
I want to get a headset for my PS3 and I heard the Jabra brand was good. Can't tell the difference between the numbers so wondering what they tell. Also, out of these three, which one is the best in terms of sound quality and comfort to the ears: Jabrao BT2040, Jabra BT125, or the Jabra BT500. The first two are in the $20-40 range whereas the BT500 is $120 but sold at $30.
I know the shipping is $17 but anyone know how much the tax might be for a 80 GB? Should I go for this deal or just get it from Amazon with free shipping and no tax? Between Walmart and Amazon, who has the better 3-year extended warranty and is it worth getting? Thanks
I want to get a PS3 today from Circuit City cause of the free controller. Is it worth getting their Circuit City Advantage Protection Plan for $99.99? What does the free basic warranty cover that comes when you buy the PS3? Don't really feel like giving $100 for a protection plan when I have never broken my consoles before. However, don't want to break it and have no back up. What do you guys think?
I've been thinking about getting a gaming computer this Friday for around $1000. Planning to use it for 3-4 years. I heard that there was some Quad Core processor coming out early next year. If I get my computer this Black Friday, can Ichange it from Duo to Quad next year? Planning to use the same parts just different processor.
Does anyone know the best value-price components for a computer with a $1200 budget for Black Friday? Only thing know to get is the GeForce 8600 GS from CompUSA and the cheaper 2 gb DDR memory. One of the things I don't understand is if it is possible to change the processor from Duo Core to a Quad Core. Don't have a PC right now so I was hoping to get one this Friday and then just change the processor next year when that new one comes out. Basically, is it possible to get a fully outfitted computer and then change from Dual Core to Quad? If so, what parts should I get for the Dual Core this Friday?
