@gamerpipe You have a point eyestrain and video game sickness are separate deals. After getting sick playing Mario Party yesterday, I realized that no matter what the quality of the 3D I'm probably not going to be able to have fun with this new system. Those are my issues that I'll work out. For those who say this isn't a new system, can you enlighten me why you feel this way? What would make it a new system to you? The 3D aspect alone would seem to make it a new handheld system. How much of a departure from the current DS line is needed for the 3DS to be considered new?
@gamerpipe Just because there aren't glasses involved doesn't mean there won't be eyestrain (headaches or motion sickness too). These things can be caused by regular gaming, so the concern over the physical effects of the 3DS are valid. I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking of this. Still, I'm interested in seeing the actual product to determine whether I'll purchase one for my daughter or not. I think that puzzle games don't need such advanced technology so I'll probably pass. Question, obviously there will be 3D specific games for the 3DS, do you think that there will be an option to turned that function off?
